Job Details*:1-Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
2-Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
3-Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements.
4-Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation.
5-Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
6-Negotiate transportation rates or services.
7-Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
8-Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
9-Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
10-Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
11-Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
12-Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
13-Communicate freight transportation information to customers or suppliers, using transportation management, electronic logistics marketplace, or electronic freight information systems, to improve efficiency, speed, or quality of transportation services.
14-Responsible for maintaining a record of all outstanding purchase orders with external vendors.
15-Arranges transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule.
16-Expedites all critical orders with local subcontract vendors.
17-Reviews expediting schedules on all customer orders. Obtains and forwards information to planning and sales teams.
18-Responsible for all duty customs sales and tax functions, including certification and verification, drawback, and compliance with governmental agencies.
19-Coordinates imports and exports.
20-Reviews freight rates: air, courier, and land.
21-Liaises with custom brokers for updated reporting procedures and valuations.
