Job Details:General Summary: Manage sales of the company's software products and services. Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment & management of sales personnel/resources. Work with the head of the organization in establishing the realistic sales goals for the company. Manage the product/services lines to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives. Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales and revenue. Plan and execute marketing strategies/initiatives to achieve the short and medium term business goals of the company.
Role: Lead the Sales and Marketing team for achieving the Sales goals for the team and the organization.
Develop and utilize the network of contacts, knowledge and expertise in Pharma Drug discovery, Clinical trials and Pharma/general Manufacturing for marketing and selling our software Products and related services, in India & overseas.
Develop, establish and maintain sales and marketing strategies, collaterals, case studies & portfolio documents to meet organizational Sales & Marketing objectives. Establish and work with sales alliance partners.
Effectively manage creative sales initiatives. Work out sales promotion, promotional activities of the organization to achieve the sales goals. Review expenses and recommend economies.
Key Responsibilities
Will be responsible for developing and Sales and Marketing strategy, execution of Sales & marketing actions, connect with customers, demonstrate the products and capabilities, achieve the Sales Order and revenue targets for the company. Product development/delivery teams to understand the products & capabilities and also provide market feedbacks. Meet the monthly, quarterly & yearly targets for Sales & revenue. Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products and services by writing and designing sales literature, & through attending industry events;
Skills required
1. Excellent communication skills. Polished personality representing Excellent Sales & marketing leader. Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills. Ability to develop marketing messages. Must be strong in producing high quality document and proposals.
2. Ability to understand business processes & business problems and visualize solutions. Quick learner with strong analytical skills. Strong knowledge of strategic, conceptual, consultative selling.
3. Should possess positive and 'can do' and 'go-getter' attitude. Should be open to new ideas, practices and methods. Should be able to adapt to the growing & changing environment.
4. Willing to travel across the country and across the globe based on business need.
5. Strong MS Office (Word, XL and PPT skills). Must be able to work with teams working across different offices. Must be able to work well from home office.
6. Strong ability to understand, market & sell software products and solution.
7. Skills in Marketing event management.
Qualification: University PG degree in Pharmacy / Chemistry or BE in Biotech. Additional MBA degree is desirable. Must have 10 to 15 years of experience in Pharma Research & discovery consulting & sales &/or Pharma contract research solution sales and marketing &/or Clinical Trial Consulting and sales.
Location: Position requires to work from our Hyderabad office; however, we are also flexible for having the person located in Mumbai or Ahmedabad. This position may require working from home office or partner office.
